Strep B positive..

I tested positive also. when I went into labor Thursday night the put my iv right away then put saline then started penicillin right away and everything was fine.

@mommyzay, I always worry too...I have a Dr's appointment thursday and will have a ton of questions for him

I got all the antibiotics and my son was healthy as could be! So don't worry @mommyzay

no cause I had my son at 35 weeks 6 days I had the appointment for a Thursday but went into labor that Monday night 3 days before that appointment

they didn't know I was strep b postivie when I went into labor they put me on antibiotics tho but my son had to be tested when he was born cause they didn't put me on antibiotics soon enough they thought he got it too. I was so worried until they told me he was fine

I know but I was also told some babies are affected even with the antibiotics I know it won't be that bad just always that worry. @eskawho es

I just got my results as well and I'm positive also...my sister was positive and all they did was give her antibiotics during labor
