I started off feeding my LO formula but I have recent switched to breast milk. I am pumping into a bottle and feeding it to her. but anyway does breast milk take longer to digest than formula?

No need to be. Next change lightly squeeze babies tummy just to check for hardness. If it's nice and squishy and baby doesn't seem irritated and in pain you're all good. ;)

@adrii2280, the switch from one to another can be hard on some babies for awhile. Also it's not uncommon for EBF babies to not poop for a week sometimes more and they're fine as long as their tummies don't feel like a hard ball. Basically breastmilk creates less waste because they use 95+% of what's in it. So there is less left to poop out.

okay. I was just wondering because my little one was popping fine until I switched her to breast. she's a week old today @californiahaley

No it's shorter because it's easier for them to digest and get through their little systems. Formula takes longer because it's harder on their bodies to digest it

no breastmilk is a lot easier to digest than formula so its digested faster
