I'm not going to lie, now that there is a date I am freaking out! I'm terrified of being induced (I've heard so many horror stories) I'm Terrified of recovery and I'm terrified of being a bad mom... Anyone else have these feelings?
@lulukiddy, I'd honestly be okay with it just being my fiance and I but I feel bad
My induction wasn't bad, I'm actually glad I did to an extent, I felt more control on knowing what was going on, and knowing I was having a baby and I wasn't gonna be sent home, and everything went great labor wise, but family wise it didn't. Just know no one needs to be there at the start, it's labor and can take awhile, only the people you do want there at all times, and rest when you can.
Next Thursday, the 19th if I'm still pregnant next Monday. I haven't made any progress so I seriously don't think she's coming out on her own lol
@jackee856, I'm hoping I'll make a little more progress by then, I've been at 1 cm for three weeks now
I was 2 cms when I got to the hospital I was 37 weeks exactly @sking092192
Oh hunny you will be just fine....I think sometimes it depends on when your water breaks too...when I got induced the doctor broke me water within an hour of me being there so I labored pretty fast. Most doctors wait for your water to break on its own or what until your contractions are really close together
ah okay! so am I :/ @mimifeb19 and @jackee856 That's not to bad, my friend was induced and her labor took 22 hours but she slept pretty much the whole time and had an epidural and said it was a breeze. I guess I'm just worried
I was induced with my son and I was in labor for 5hours...some females make it seem bad but it's really not. I believe mostly likely if you have complications while being induced you would have them if you weren't either.
a gym? what do you mean, sorry lol and yes I very much am getting the epidural. I've been having full blown contractions since 28 weeks, I know they hurt and I can only imagine how much worse they will be then!
I got induced I don't see why people say it's horrible but I'm a gym so I don't know the difference. but you'll be ok just ask for the pain meds :)
That makes sense, haha. The nurses and drs thought my labor was going to be long, but it was only a total of 3 or 4 hrs. If that
@laura_love, Thank you, I just don't want a long drawn out miserable labor lol
I had the feeling of being a terrible mom. If it helps any, my induction went super smooth and fast. My contractions weren't really all that bad

Thanks for all the ❤️ guys! I think I'm in shock! Labor story in a bit I'm being attacked with visitors lol
So y'all I think I'm ready to start trying again.. Yes I'm still terrified and I'll never stop being terrified, but I'm ready!!
I see almost everyone getting a c-section... Why would that even be people's option if they can give vaginal birth? :c
Is it laziness or you're terrified lol. I'm terrified but I'm being strong 💪🏽
Confirmed case of Measles in Arizona. I'm seriously terrified 😭
I'm terrified of SIDS 😖
It's nothing to feel bad about, you're doing what you need to do, and what is best for the baby, and that proves you're a mom and a wonder mom.
