if they ask if you want to be in the room i always say no cause its more tramatic for me then them and usually after a few hours sometimes the first day it doesnt even bother them it just looks nasty

ya my son got gel put on his to numb and it made me feel better they did that @californiahaley

Babies are "awake" mine slept an wasn't bothered. Some pedis would do a numbing injection but mine said in his 30 years anytime he'd done te injection the babies were far more bothered by that then any babies during the actual procedure.

ya my son stayed awake but they num the area and as soon as he was done witch it only took maybe ten min i got to pick him up i gave him a baba and he was out like a light i sat in the room throw the hole thing i cryed more then him it is a scary thing to watch but its really not bad as soon as the doc was finish my son acted like it never happened

My son didn't cry during the procedure. it took 2 weeks to fully heal. and the first few days he screamed when I changed him but after the first few days he was fine.

mine only took a week to heal and it never bothered him when i changed or cleaned it just make sure to put enough jelly on it so it dont stick to the diaper but it hurt me more then him

My son slept through the process an it took less then a week to heal an I didn't have to do any extra care to it. My pedi used the plastibell meathods and it was great. And he wasn't bother by diaper changes or anything

I had my first son done, I think it took about 2weeks? I don't really remember but I do remember whenever I changed his diaper he cried because you have to clean it and put new gauze on it.
