I have a doctors appointment tomorrow , should I get the whooping cough vaccine ? I heard its bad to get shots while pregnant but others say its good I dont know what to decide on

you deff should get it I wouldn't wanna give my baby whopping cough over not wanting to get it. I had mine done at 25w. with no side effects its just like a flu shot. they wouldn't tell you that you need a shot if it wasn't healthy for baby and you.
I got mine while pregnant as well no side effects at all I also made my sons father get it & I made sure his older brothers were up to date with theirs
if you get it while pregnant the immunization is passed on to the baby.
get it AFTER delivery. that's what I did
i would get it & have whoever lives with you or will be able the baby a lot get it. whooping cough can kill babies. but get your doctors opinion.

i got the shot when i was 26 weeks i think its best i didnt get sick off the shot or anything
I wouldn't get it if I were u because I got an allergic reaction from it. Rash downstairs and on my chest! It was horrible
I had a minor reaction to the vaccine but it was worth it to know that my child is immune to whooping cough because I got it WHILE pregnant. My arm got a small rash and was sore for about 3 days. If you get it after pregnancy then the baby gets only some immunity and that's only if you breastfeed. My little brother had whooping cough last year and it was so scary to watch him go thru that I'm not even gonna chance my baby getting it
