I don't understand how the baby would get it then....I only know it from breast feeding .

The doctor could give you a prescription for it, there's something over the counter, but I can't remember it, but you should be able to Google it and find it.

@kennedymom, you can also take a warm wash cloth and rub it over your babies gums after feedings also boiling your bottles when you clean then helps
