Is it normal for babies to lose hair? my son is 3 months old, and he has less hair then when he was born.

My husband wants to get this hair cut for my son but he is not even 2 and I don’t want to shave the side I herd it just ruin the natural hair and it’s never the same

I was born with a lot of hair my boyfriend was born with a lot of hair plus he is Mexican and Mexican babies always have like a bunch of hair why is it I have no heart burn ? Not that I'm asking for it it's just that am I gonna have a bold baby ? :/
