Labor Story...

So I started having contractions that were irregular at first on Sunday. Then they became 10 minutes apart and hurt. So I went to labor and delivery they checked me I was only 1 1/2 cm so they sent me home. I was having contractions all that night. I went to my doctors appointment at 11:40 Monday morning and my doctor checked me and I was 4 cm so she sent me to labor and delivery. They decided to keep me and see if I progress any. I walked around and dilate to 5 cm. Contractions started to get painful so I got the epidural. They started me on antibiotics because I had group strep b. They started me on pitcion to make my contractions go closer together. They checked me again and I was 6 1/2 cm. They decided they were gonna break my water but wanted to wait till baby's head came down some more. They broke my water at 11:45 Around 3:30 Tuesday morning my temp went up and I had a fever. Started pushing at 4. The epidural started to wear off when i was pushing and Za'Miyah was born at 5 Tuesday morning. She had a fever when she was born and was brought to the nicu.
