I was just wondering if I can start my son on baby food around 4 months. he'll be 4 months on the 12th. its like formula…

mine only sits up for a few seconds i feed her in her jumper

you can feed him in a bouncer if you have one. I just rolled a blanket under their head to elevate them a bit more or sit them on your lap. mine didn't sit till like 6-8 months.

@babygirl10-11, oh okay I'll watch for those signs then..he doesn't sit up yet. I haven't tried giving him a spoon yet. I only gave him a little mashed potatoes on my finger lol

just be sure to only introduce one food at a time in case they have allergies. like bananas for three days, then peas for three days and so on.

they have bottles made for cereal in the milk but I just fed mine with a spoon just make it real soupy like @junebaby said & @sexii_diiva mine were exactly the same they were always eating so I started them on food so I knew they would stay full longer

avacados are a really healthy first food too for babies. I started giving mine baby food at six months.

@babygirl10-11 I do have them but it didn't work. then I poked a bigger hole and it was to fast lol. it was a struggle that night xD

wic told me i fed my baby too soon shes almost five months they said there ready to eat when they open there mouth for the spoon sit up and turn there head away when no longer hungry my baby does all that so i ignored them lol

I gave all my kids baby food at 4 months even rice and beans lol I'm on my 4th and when she's 4 months doing the same

he may be ready to eat rice cereal from a spoon. I always fed mine with a spoon from about four months. make it real soupy like.

@sexii_diiva, well what I've noticed with tavarus is he's always eating. he eats 6ish ounces every 1-2 hours. that's why I feel like its not filling him up. it just seems like I'm always feeding him because he's just always hungry lol

@january10th, yeah I bought rice cereal too and it won't come out of the nipples ): I only put a little so idk what to do about that and lmao aww (: the only thing I've given tavarus is a little mashed potatoes 😂

I started my second baby on rice cereal at 3 months & my first baby loved refried beans at 4 months lol
