can i take a bath 1 week after i had my baby or only shower?

@regelbaby lol nope..no kegels...just lucky... I'll be 4 weeks pp as of Monday but vag feels good now..just the 1st 2 weeks was a struggle. after that I was pretty much fine

Ya ya I remember u sayin that. So I've taken a few baths like 3 I think and it hasn't seemed to make it worse down there or anything. I'm pretty sore tho I got a tear right beside my urethra on my labia so peeing stings like a mf. I'm not a big bather either but I was hoping it would help with the pain. It hasn't :( lol just want my vag to heal already. Ur lucky u didn't tear u must've been doing ur kegels ;) lol

@regelbaby that's why I told you the other day I thought you couldn't take baths until 6 weeks is up but you said your Dr told you you can.. but maybe its because you tore or something idk... I didn't tear but I was told no baths... I like showers anyway so it doesn't bother me

Wow everyone was told not to!? My midwife told me to have sitz baths or Epsom salt baths! .... I had a 2nd degree tear too

No. after you have your baby you have to wait 6 weeks before you can take baths or have sex. .. @isabellasmommy2015

They told me no baths for six weeks to avoid infection. but If your stitches are bothering you you can sit in about six inches of warm water to soothe them.

i wouldnt specially if you tore
