Well I have limit it a lot but I'm just curious. I have no conditions I just want more powerade stuff but that has 54 g just for that. So idk what's too much and what's ok @isabellasmommy2015
lol i understand completely. all things in moderation. as long as you arent eating an entire cheesecake and following it up with eggnog, cake and ice cream im sure it's fine. i endulged in the occasional sweet tooth and my first is perfectly healthy. lol
I have type one diabetes and I just want to add that no matter what you eat, you will have sugar in it. if you eat a baked potato that's already about 56 grams of sugar. I think the midwife meant to limit fatty sugars, such as sweet tea and gummy bears. Powerades are good, because the electrolytes that come with them. @jstrong12712 @edomke
No problem. I have blood sugar issues and I'm not even regulated to how much sugar I can have, just as long as I monitor correctly and take my medicine properly. I just have to eat sugar foods slowly so the baby can adjust to high glucose in his/her blood is all @edomke

a midwife told me to try keeping it under 50g a day because your baby can come out hypoglycemic
