Okay ladies my son is 2 months old & has been eating so much & more frequently. Would it be okay to put a little rice cereal in his bottle to fill him up so I'm not getting up every 2 or 3 hours? He eats 4 ounces per sitting & then just a few hours later he's crying for more. I wouldn't mind getting up every few hours to feed him if I was a stay at home mom but I went back to work today & only got an hour of sleep.

they say its okay to put the rice cereal in baby's bottle at 2 months so they get fuller and sleep all night I'm starting the cereal in my sons bottle this Friday

What hubby and i did was use a little bit of formula or breast milk and add just a little of the cereal in a bowl and mix and feed her that way. Its way to hard to do out of a bottle because the hole is not big enough. Yoi can start with a table spoon and if he/she is still hungry then give her a bit of a bottle

My daughter is 2 weeks and we already put 1/2 a tsp in 4oz for her because she would down 4oz nearly choking herself and still be screaming for more
