I have to rant!! I am 3 months preg with 2nd babe (so already more painful) and I have fibromyalgia on top of that. I am in constant pain and there is nothing that can be done about it. it would be so much easier on me if my husband even tried to understand! but he doesn't. he claims that everybody hurts and that's no reason to sit in my chair and not get up for every little thing our son wants when he sits on the couch playing on his phone ignoring both of us. I am so exhausted and I can't seem to get him to understand anything about my condition!! but how could he ever understand, he's never lived with either of them!!! I am so angry and bitter with him that I almost want to throw up my hands and walk away. someone somewhere has to understand or at least try more than he does!! :'( 3
Hope he does. It's okay. His mom was a single mom. So I think a lot of it is him just used to seeing the woman be the primary caregiver and all that. I'm just patient with him, because I know he loves the girls with all his heart
@uhohitskyra, what do you do to help with all of it? I stopped taking the flexeril and ibuprofen when we found out we were preg. I'm just so Achey and exhausted.
@laura_love, I'm sorry you had to go through that. I'm hoping mine will open his eyes before there is too much bitterness left between us.
Lyrica doesn't work! I can take flexeril but they don't want you doing that too much. It's a hard disease.
Fibromyalgia 6 years 23 weeks girl I get it. I'm here if you wanna talk ever!
My fiancé was the same way. This was baby #2 for me as well, and I was in crazy pain, and so extremely exhausted my 1st&3rd; trimester. I still was the main caregiver for my 1yr old. I so badly wish he understood
@junebaby, my doctors took me off of all of my medication. I take tylenol but that's pretty useless. I just want to be normal again and him throwing it in my face that I'm not makes it so much harder :(
a medication called lyrica helps a lot of people but I don't think you can take it while pregnant and doctor has to prescribe.
when I'm not pregnant I take ibuprofen but you have to Br careful cause too much can causes stomach ulcers so I also took omeprazole for my stomach. its very hard to work long hours. I'm a nurse so was on my feet all day. I'm currently on bed rest so not working. it gets really bad in the winter or when it rains. I started making hair bows a few years ago and it helped like therapy for my hands. I think staying as active as you can really helps. its hard with the fatique but its so important. also there are diets online I looked up to help and vitamins. that's about all I know to do. I use heating pads, ice packs or muscle rub/biofreeze for the pain.
i think i got fibromyalgia as well @junebaby while i was pregnant and after
Thank you @junebaby how do you cope? any tips for pain relief or extra energy?
I'm not diagnosed but pretty sure I have fibromyalgia as well and I have rheumatoid arthritis. I hurt all the time. This is my fifth and last baby. I'm 35 so its very hard on my body. I feel your pain mama. I'm sorry you're going through that will little help. It's sure not easy.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
I really watch what I eat especially caffeine and lots of bread. I also take lots of vitamins which is how I have handled my fibro from day one. I never had luck with anti depression medication and I didn't want the lyrica or cimbalta because of trying for a family. Support Helps too! The biggest thing is when my body says enough I listen it's hard and it's harder to ask for help! Hang in there mama. Again I'm here text, Kik, fb whatever. Prayers ❤️
