@meejay22, ya I would never ask anyone if I could be there either. I would feel like I was overstepping my boundaries lol

@mmora, my thoughts exactly. I'd never feel comfortable asking that of anyone.

@ krb0911 I am going natural and that's why I don't want anyone but MW and DH there. I want to focus on having a baby not have a viewing party!

You can ask whoever you want to be there but I don't think anyone should ask you if they can be there. Know what I mean? If you wanted her there you would have invited her yourself.

I only want my mom and fiance in the room with me, my mom's already seen me whining and crying so it's OK lol but I would feel really uncomfortable with my mil in there.

Plus she made a weird comment about originally wanting to ask DH and then have him ask me. During labor, I call the shots.

I said no too, we are close but me and my Mom are not and I feel like I'd be strange to have a mother figure there who is not MY Mom.

If you are really close its not weird. But for me I think it is , I only want my mom and fiancé in the room with me. I don't want everybody seeing my vag lol
