It should within a week or two. My daughters fell off in a few days

Rachel's came off within a week. 5 days if I'm not mistaken and we were able to submerge her in water the next day. We never put anything on it it before it fell off. We just left it

She never told me how long it would take. She just said to keep it dry.

the Dr should have gave you directions... mine said put alcohol on it 4 times a day... his fell of a few days ago && he will be 3 weeks as of Monday... I'm still currently putting alcohol on it. its healing good

Ok are going on two weeks on Tuesday and was just curious how long it takes..

@kgonza87, her umbilical cord came off about 10 days after she was born, but I still waited til she was two wks to officially submerge her in water, don't put anything on it just let it come off cause you don't want it to get infected

Is there anyway to speed up the process neediest putting alcohol on it?
