Yeah it's better for blood and oxygen flow to your baby.
I slept on my right side my entire pregnancy & my child is perfectly fine.

@mmora, Im more comfortable sleeping on my right side but i heard it cuts of blood of the baby :/
@january10th, Its so comfortable for me to sleep on my left side. im just not used to it. im comfortable sleeping on my stomach until my little girl kicks me thats when i know to change postions lol.
Ive been told it's better for digestion and helps you not get heartburn etc... But I've never worried about which side I sleep on! Lol as long as your comfortable it should be okay. I was always a stomach sleeper before but eventually my belly got too big and it didn't feel good anymore.
It ease pressure off your kidney, supposedly help U breath better, I roll over to my right/ back side every now & then & I still sleep 1/2 on my tummy. Whatever feel comfortable to u. Trust me your baby will tell u when he/ she is uncomfortable
