Tax question: if my old job doesn't take out taxes do I need to file even if I haven't work in 5 months?

if you made less that 11,700 you are not required to file. also your job needs to take out taxes or you will owe th e irs money. th ey need to take out at least 10% of your income. also on your W-4 don't claim more than 1 exemption (you can write 0 to take the most taxes out of your check) because the more exemptions you claim the less they take in taxes meaning the less you we the irs. But when you file your taxes, you claim all exemptions @mommyofaking
