has anyone else took amoxicillin whilst pregnant ...pharmacy said its ok it for a dental abcess?

I was given it for my chest infection when I was 25 weeks from the hospital.. had to stay in overnight I was that bad.. they wouldn't give you something you can't take.. I didn't take it cos I got home and my mum told me it contains penicillin which I'm allergic to Lol

I've never taken that, whilst pregs. So I wouldn't know. Always best to check with ya midwife. Get well soon x
