I'm having a really hard time wrapping my head around the fact that my baby will be needing blood transfusions, and possible bone marrow transplants. I seriously am still in shock and I don't want it to happen... I want this to just be a bad dream and her to be healthy and happy again.

@firstbaby_girl, she has thalassemia and hemoglobin f. we have to meet with a specialist at UC Davis in Sacramento within the next couple weeks. they said in the meantime to reach out to support groups and do some online research and call with questions. I'm just so upset about this whole thing.

education is key mama reach out for support groups and everything for u family and baby girl. she might not be 100 percent healthly but she still looks like a happy baby to me. I'll keep u and her in my prayers and hope nothing but the best for u and your little princess.

@mandi0101111, thank you! I actually found another mom here in California and our daughters are the same age and have the same disorder so she's been giving me tons of info and I'm so thankful I found her cause I felt really alone at first. and thank you and all my other preggies for the prayers! ♡
