Part 2 ..... I called my dr around 7 but I was scared and in denial so I didn't leave for the hospital until Like 8:05! 😩 lmao it's only a 10 min drive tho. Around 8:45 I was only 3.5cm and 60% effaced. As I waited to get into a personal room I debated on getting pitocin. I was not beat to be in pain allll day so I got the pitocin around 10:30. I struggled thru the PAIN until about 2 when it got unbearable! I wanted a natural birth soo badly but getting the pitocin sped up the contractions too much and I couldn't deal. I wanted to see if I had dilated more before getting any pain meds, at 2pm I had only moved to 4cm 100% so I decided to get the epidural. I got it at 2:30 and at 3:20 I felt like my butt was gonna fall out of itself so I begged to be checked and I was at 9.5 and ready to push! Less than 1 hour!! My Angel faced baby was born at 3:56pm! I started pushing at maybe 3:35 and prolly only 7/8 pushes. It happens soooo fast!! 9 hour labor total.

@steph__x0x0, Thank you! 😊 bc it was my first child I had NO idea what to expect. I think if I didn't get pitocin I could have done it natural but it would have taken forever and I was anxious to get it over with! Lol but the epidural wasn't that bad and the anesthesiologist I had was great! ... I can't wait to hear your story!

So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.

Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

Got to the hospital at 4 am to start my pitocin, well.. I was put on the drip at 430 am , and was 4cm dilated and 80 percent effaced, an hour later. The nurse came in to check me, hours later, and I was at 6 cm. I got the epidural at 6cm.. But it didn't work for me, no more than 20 minutes later, I couldn't take the pain, I was screaming and crying.. And felt everything.. most terrible pain ever, I called for my nurse to come in and she checked me again, said I was ready to deliver, babys head was there. About 30 minutes of pushing, and 8 stitches later, 10:40 a.m. I gave birth to the most beautiful, little girl in the world, weighing 5 pounds and 8 ounces, 18 inches long! Welcome to the world Scarlette Jayde, youre so perfect.. and were so blessed to be your parents!! Even though I felt everything, and the epidural didn't work for me, I have to say the pain I felt was so worth it!!!
