What's the Difference Between a Bloody Show and Losing Your Mucous Plug?

Dang it's bound to happen soon for you. I think it's crazy how we can have contractions so close together this long and yet still no baby. I bet your so ready for this to be over!! @sking092192

Yeah I was in the hospital from 5pm till almost midnight last night. I was having them ever 4-6 Minutes but they slowed down again :( I've been throwing up randomly and loosing my plug today and yesterday but no blood. so I'm just waiting lol

@sking092192, girl I'm still hanging in there! No cramping or contractions so far today so I'm hoping to make it a couple more weeks!! I felt a lot of pressure down there yesterday and was having 'lightening crotch' and that night I had the bloody show. I think baby is settling into my pelvis more. How's your situation lately? Still contracting too??

That's great news @manafa thank you girl! My mother in law put a lot of work into this baby shower and I would feel so bad if I went into labor tonight lol

My friend told me it can continue for up to two weeks, she is almost dies too and hers started yesterday

@schevanya, do you know how soon after bloody show it usually happens?? My baby shower is tomorrow 😢 I know baby will come when he's ready but I'm hoping I have a few days to go!

It was mucous but bloody when I wiped. At first I thought it was a blood clot before I realized it was actually mucous @schevanya
