Do I just got an email from my Dr. that I need to have more test done since my last visit (they found protein in my urine). Since then my upper right side has been hurting now I'm so worried that I have preeclampsia. Has any of you mommies gone through this I need some support.

its been since about 31 weeks, but it was very mild ehen they started noticing it, its gradally gotten worse.
I'm 35 weeks. I have my appointment tomorrow. To see what they say. I have a sore like pain. Since when did the notice the hpb &protein;? @ttee8588
ive gone through the same thing. elevating levels of protein and high blood pressure, i thought i had some pain also but turned out it was just baby up in my ribs she has definitely dropped the pain lasted about a week but was more like a stretching pulling pain (36 weeks) it feels much better now. as for the protein and hbp they are inducing me this weekend at 37 weeks just out of precaution.

yes, I had protein in my urine since I was 12 years old. the Dr. did a biopsy of my kidneys and found nothing. that was just my normal. with my first pregnancy it remained the same they just run test to make sure that everything remains the same and that your blood pressure doesn't go up because then you would be at risk for preeclampsia... the main thing that Dr. think about with protein in the urine is diabetes. I had gestational diabetes with my first pregnancy and after I had my daughter it went away. my daughter has protein in her urine also but they can't find anything they are saying it's genetic from me. with this pregnancy now I still have high protein but my Dr. isn't worried because my blood pressure is still the same and I'm drinking a lot of water with this pregnancy unlike my first pregnancy. the best thing to do is drink plenty of water and cranberry juice. @novastar

Sooooo Athena has to have the surgery 😥😥😥😥 I've been bawling I'm a mess ! I can't believe this is happening to my poor child ! Why ? What did I do that caused this ? I'm seriously on my knees bawling ! As much as I tried to prepare myself, I wasn't ready to hear those words . In 3 months she will have her cranial surgery & I pray to God she has a easy & speedy recovery ! Please pray for my baby ladies ! She really needs them !

The thing with me is that my bp is fine. it hasn't spiked at all but the protein in my urine is what alerted them. So I'll see what they want to do tomorrow. Good luck with your induction.
