I'm trying for baby number 2! I haven't had a period since December 17 and have had some pregnancy symptoms including faint lines on some tests but when I would retested it would come back a flat negative. I read about women not finding out later in their first trimester because their home tests would be negative. If I am pregnant I would be 8 weeks. I was just wondering if anyone else had gone through this and if they could give me some advice. I have a well check appointment next week and I don't want to look crazy asking for a blood test or ultrasound.

I went to the er thinking I had a really bad stomach bug, they did blood work and then told me I was pregnant. I was in denial about the whole thing, I took a home test because my husband wouldn't drop the subject and it didn't read anything.
I have a friend that has missed her period but keeps getting negative results. Her doctor said its from her birth control tho. Her doctor wouldn't even test her for pregnancy. Hopefully you have better luck!
@bree961, did you have to do a blood or ultrasound when you found out or was it from a home test?
I didn't find out i was pregnant until I was 8 weeks 6 days so yes it is possible
