does anyone with gestational diabetes have any serious issues with it as far as babies health? my doctor tried calling me I'm assuming with results but it didn't show up til today when they were closed and she never calls when tests go okay so im assuming they need me to take the 3hr. so I'm just asking in case.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
I'm locked in the bathroom. he won't stop hitting me! Omg I'm so scared to call the police but I'm going to! this is not a fucking joke
What the hell that pisses me off when people ask me if I'm really pregnant? I'm hella excited that I am; is that so wrong?!??
So I really dislike my mil so much that when I go into labor I'm gonna hide hubbys phone so he can't call her lol idc I'm petty !

Ya. They usually call only when u fail...but they will have you do a 3 hour test now before they rule out GD. I'm in the same boat hope I passed my 3 hour. I prolonged it for a whole month. lol

@fleajohnson, if it's GD they will try to get it controlled with a "special diet" & have you make a journal of you're level before you eat. if that doesn't work they will use meds. GD won't harm the baby as long as you can get it under control. it just usually means a bigger baby at times. my mom works at an obgyn so I talked to her for hours the night before my test lol

I just worry about my son and wanted to make sure whatever they were gonna tell me most likely isn't something that can be too harmful to him as long as it can be controlled. I put him first. and it would be nice to feel better as a plus side lol @parkers_mommy

it does. gives me more of an idea what to expect when I visit or call in the morning. and I've been checked like 3 times but she was checking again with the glucose so who knows. I just know something been making me have super weak shaky fainting spells and I've always assumed anemia or diabetic with the pregnancy but anemias been coming back negative so I was worried about my blood sugar. but who knows. I just hope whatever it is we can help it and it not harm the baby. because it gets scary at times. @parkers_mommy

@fleajohnson, I wasn't anemic when I went to sign up for wic last month, but I am now. so I think it can just happen after a while but I'm not 100% sure. just wanted to ease your mind a little.

well they've checked me a few times for anemia already because I had spells that made us think I was. but every time it came back that I'm not. but I guess I could become anemic between tests. idk how that works. but I didn't know that. thanks @parkers_mommy

the test can also show if you're anemic or if your hypoglycemic. my doctor called me to tell me I was anemic.
