ADVICE: so I was just in the hospital 3 days ago for my cervix softening and starting to efface but was sent home with absolutely no restrictions while I'm still slightly contracting and then saying they didn't wanna see me until 2 weeks later at my next appointment, I let that go and dealt with it even though I wanted more reassurance and information. Then yesterday I'm pretty sure I started slightly leaking fluid here and there and I monitored it yesterday and this morning and called in talking to the on call doctor explained everything including my hospital experience and he told me I wasn't leaking fluid and if I feel a gush of fluids or start contracting to call back in and other then if things get worse to just stick with my appointment a week and and half from now. I'm only 32 weeks and long and these are all signs of premature labor and I don't wanna have my baby at 32 weeks they shouldn't either. We should be taking care of this before it gets to that point....I'm basically being blown off until something bad happens which shouldn't be the case. I know doctors are very intellegent but you cannot tell me over the phone I'm not leaking fluids without even looking at me. I know it may be nothing but I feel I'm being blown off and that I'm the only one worried about premature labor.:(
I'm hoping it's nothing to! that's what I am doing, calling first thing tomorrow morning and asking to be seen. better safe then sorry!!
@tayjanae20 when my water broke it was not a big gush. I was leaking here and there at 34 weeks. I would go to the hospital and have them check to be sure. they sound kind of mean and insensitive. my doctors always told me to call if I was concerned. so when I called about the fluid I was leaking she told me to put a pad or panty liner in my undies and if I could fill it with the fluid within an hour then it was my water and I needed to go to the hospital. you only have 24 hours to deliver the baby after your water breaks or there is a higher risk of infections for you both :(
