Are you getting a epidural?

@firefly, no I don't think it would be wise for me to get it. I've done some reading on getting the epidural and having scoliosis

I think you should to talk to your doctor I also have scoliosis, so o brought it up to my doctor and I have a appointment with anesthesiologist on the 27th for them to look at my back. I have a pretty significant curve.

Oh yes will definitely let you know. I was really freaked out about it my husband suggested we talk to the doctor, and I am very happy we did. As I am nearing the end of my pregnancy and the cold my lower back hurts in the morning and my hips hurt a lot at night so I end up waking up on my back. Besides this I have really haven't had any issues.

Also just thought of this lol, my daughter has taken up all my space and somtimes hits my hips and ribs idk if this is due to me being crooked and loopside, but it can feel odd or painful while walking so I just slow down and take a break. You should also definitely get a pregnancy pillow it is the best thing that has helped, I would use it more but my husband hates it.

I have scoliosis too, my Mom also has it and had a bad experience with an epidural when she had my little sister in 2006. Although, she had epidurals with all four of us only one was botched. I think it all depends on your spine and your anesthesiologist.
