Baby Brooklynn gave us a little scare yesterday!! at only 32 weeks I was contracting some and progressing a little more then my doctors were comfortable with, we went to the labor hall for some monitoring until they could figure out what we were gonna do. I didnt progress anymore while there even though im still contracting so i was sent home! We are home now resting and taking it easy to keep her in there as long as possible. Thank you to my baby for staying with me and keeping me company and keeping my mind off things! I love him! So As much as we wanna meet you princess you still have 8 more weeks. As much as id like to go full term i have a feeling we will be welcoming Baby B earlier then planned!
@tayjanae20 they gave me the shots as a precaution Because I wasn't having actual contractions but I was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced at 32 weeks.
it didn't get to the point where they gave me shots, things kinda stayed the same and they didn't think I would be progressing anymore. im on light activity nothing strict but I just feel more comfortable resting and not doing much. I'm pretty much assuming I'll be going early though since I'm already starting to have a softened cervix and I'm 25 percent effaced! @brie127
it happened to me as well at 32 weeks and they gave me the shots for my daughters lung development. I wish I would've listened wheny doctor told me to stay on the couch or in bed. but my dad who had cancer and his girlfriemd were living with us at the time and no one besides myself did any cleaning. so I didn't really have a choice. it was either clean or listen to them bitch about how I wasn't cleaning and how me and my fiance are slobs, etc.. my fiance works over 50 hours a week and tried helping as much as possible. but my water still broke randomly after I woke up from a nap at 34 weeks
I'm glad baby stayed put!! I started having contractions at 34 weeks. Went to L&D and didn't dilate at all so I got sent home as well. Now I have contractions randomly through out the day but nothing consistent! Hopefully our babies can cook a little longer :)
