at your baby shower do you have to open all the presents in front of everyone like a bridal shower?? Bc I HATE opening…

my host open my gifts and I wasn't paying no attention Lol I was like awww

its ur shower if u want him there then have him there ... lol my hubby didnt go.to mine and its was coed

There was over 110 people at my shower, I didn't open any gifts, and people were fine with that, plus the gifts are easier to transport unopened

I did. But I guess If you don't want to then tell the person hosting that you would rather not so for them not to like announce present time.

I hate opening presents in front of people too cause my reaction is horrible.

Lol we ran out of time at mine and we had a huge shower so we took the presents home and opened them. took over 2 hours at home and 3 cars just to get them there lol. I seriously didn't have to buy anything for her the first year (I still did because she's spoiled haha) but alot of things I still have new in the package cause I got tons of duplicates.

I wanted my husband to be there cause then it would take some of the attention off of me. but the people hosting it made it girls only. which stinks. but yeah I guess I'll end up opening them :( @junebaby @babygirl10-11 @sgtpeppertheory

I hate being the center of attention so I completely understand. They want to see you open them though.

I did at mine and I have the worst social anxiety yet somehow I made it! everybody liked seeing all the baby stuff haha.

yep.. i think it would be rude not to people like to see ur reaction to their gift and most times they take pics of u opening them
