what does evening primrose oil do..I'm gonna start it at 36w+ but I would like to know if any of you ladies have tried it and what was the outcome?

I was doing some research on the evening primrose oil and a lot of woman had said that it worked for them but took a while to kick in..@elliot.s,
lol @elliot.s I sure don't want it coming out both ends..I deal with that enough haha. but I hear it helps the cervix soften and dilate?
