It sounds like it could be Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP for short). Which is caused by the hormones in your body softening the pelvis area in preparation of birth. I've had a little already and I'm week 23. My doc said sitting still for too long or with my legs crossed can flare it up. Best to get up walk around a little every so often. Also sleeping with a pillow between your legs at night.

Thank you @wildflower I did start suspecting this after as it's starting to hurt walking up the stairs now too! x

Oh no!! I hope it doesn't get worse for you. I had a really bad few hours on Saturday night past, it was awful. The only thing that helped was putting a hot water bottle between my legs! Darn awkward but it really helped. Luckily I haven't had it since ☺️☺️

Thank you @wildflower ! I may have to steal that idea that sounds good! I'm glad your feeling better with it! I don't know wether it's because I'm noticing it now but it has been horrible today. Just getting up from a chair and walking home from work hurts. Is it worth booking a doctors appointment? is there anything they can do?

Maybe see if you can talk to your doctor or midwife over the phone, then if they think they want to check up on you in person they will ask you to come in. Otherwise if it isn't anything they can do about it, your mind is at ease, knowing you've got to rest up as much as possible and maybe take an extra break on the way home. Xxx
