Trying to see the positive thru the negative is hard but its there. First positive my baby boy is ALIVE and all though they do not kno exactly where the infection is, we do kno that it is not meningitis. Thank God! Another plus is that, they started antibiotics before they knew for sure if he did have an infection. Which has giving him a head start on fighting the infection. Another good thing is that, even though he is still on a ventilator he is doing a lot of his breathing on his own. His left lung collapsed but they were able to get a chest tube in and it seems to be doing its job. The dr's all seem very confident that he'll have no long term problems with it. Xray people will be by around five to do an xray on his lung to see if hes made progress I should have the results by mid morning. Not knowing is the scariest part but I have faith that we will kick that virus' butt.. I want to thank everyone who has said a prayer for my lil guy. I just kno that they are working. Id also like to ask that you continue to pray. We need all the love and support that we can get!
