A nurse helped me with my first baby. I had a c-section so she helped take the bandage off my tummy and stayed close by until I was done.

I had a c section & it hurt to even sit up in bed but I took a shower the next day & my boyfriend took the shower with me. we just took our son to the nursery so he could help me & I'll tell ya what it was very needed! I felt so gross especially having all that iodine all over my stomach from surgery.

I showered every day by myself. 😉

but yes they can give you a shower chair if you feel weak. I had one in there with me just in case I needed to sit down

because I delivered naturally with no meds or anything I took a shower like a few hrs after I had her. omg it felt AMAZING to shower lol I felt so nasty down in my vag mostly because I'm just not used to leaking again down there. I never even wore pads before I was prego.. can't stand that feeling of the blood coming out. but yea that first shower is LIFE I swear lol

I wanted to take a shower the minute I could after I gave birth. I felt so dirty. they didn't let me until the next morning. best shower of my life. I was tired and my body hurt but the hot water felt great and I always feel better after a shower.

im not gonna lie i took a shower the next night. only because my right leg was still numb from the epidural :( . and oh goodness i felt so much better after the shower, even though my shower head sprayed 10000 different ways it was still nice!
