Honest to God from a pediatrician; You can drink while breastfeeding, as long as you're not drinking a TON!

a lot of the older teachings said to but you do not have to. I have spoke with several as well and researched it but everyone should do what's comfortable for them. @stlgrl22

@junebaby, our lactation consultant said for it to be dumped out. our consultant said pump after two hours even after one drink.

you don't need to dump your milk. your breast milk metabolizes the alcohol just like the blood. one drink is fine. wait about two hours to feed for one drink. if you feel buzzed or drunk don't feed. wait till your head feels clear

yes, just pump and dump in east breast. just wait two hours before feeding.

they have alcohol testing strips at Toys R Us. You could also do a pump and dump, too.
