Did anyone else get really sick with the epidural?? See I really didn't want the epidural, I made it to 8cm and fully effaced. But with the pain medication drip they had me on I would stop breathing when I would fall asleep. Plus it wasn't really doing much at all with the pain. It was absolutely terrifying, but I think it was mainly because I was in so much pain that I was worried I would move. I don't know if I would get it again, just because I got so sick. But that could have easily been because of how much pain I was in. So I was just wondering if anyone got crazy sick after it?

yeah I shook real bad with all my babies. The pain meds effect my breathing too. I hate it.
@junebaby, The iv didn't really help with my pain but it did help me sleep for the most part. Still not worth it to me though since apparently I stopped breathing at least once every time I feel asleep.
@junebaby, I started feeling sick earlier but the epidural made it worse, and after I got it I could not stop shaking, no matter how hard I tried. I was hot and cold at the same time. Part of my thinks it was cause I waited so long.
I won't ever take Iv pain meds again during labor. Didn't help my pain. It just made me feel sick and drunk.
I got sick and shaky whether I got one or not.
@lunab592, my back, surprisingly, seems to be fine. But while they had me on the epidural I got really sick, shaky, felt like I was burning up.
Mom's that went natural no meds , was it painful? Or painful PAINFUL ? I got an epidural last time but I wanna go no meds...
My 5 year old brother just got circumcised due to all the infections he kept on getting & seeing him in so much pain not being able to walk makes me glad I got my son circumcised as a newborn & planning on doing the same with my second baby.
Does anyone know if when I go into labor, instead of getting the epidural, and get pain meds...if the pain became unbearable for me could I get the epidural after I've gotten the pain meds if I'm in to much pain??
Any first time mom's that already had their baby? Did you get an epidural or go natural? I don't want an epidural but if the pain is too much for me I feel like ima have to but I prefer to do it without the epidural.
