my milk milk didn't kick in for about 3-4 days. i woke up and looked like i had a boob job. my husband kept staring at my chest, and i was like. what the heck are you looking at? lol

dont stop breastfeeding or at least pumping. it takes a bit for the real milk to kick in

its stuff like this that they never bother to tell you. the colostrum before the milk is wicked good for them. that's why colostrum comes in first.

I've not wanted to stop pumping. In fact, if I'm doing okay, I'm gonna try here in a min. I've just been hurting so bad today. Cramps have been terrible @rlcorreia123

i understand, i had terrible cramps, expecially while pumping. the uterus contracts, breastfeeding and pumping help get your uterus back to the way it was. keep it up, don't give up, and keep me posted! :)

the hurt is helping you heal believe it or not. my cramps got much better after a week post partum

I'm hoping to bounce back like I did with my first. Lost all the weight in 2 weeks. She does have a bit of a problem latching on. My first did too, and I wasn't able to breastfeed with her /: @rlcorreia123

i called the hospital and got a lactation nurse to visit me, she told me my baby was tongue tied, then i went to her pediatrician and got a referral for water laser treatment to remove the tongue tie. it was the best thing i ever did. i just didn't take no for an answer. if breastfeeding is something you want to do, stick to your guns. if a baby is tongue tied and you have a problem breast feeding, then the tounge tie is causing enough problem. but don't feel bad if the odds stack against you and you have to formula feed either. the most important thing is that you are feeding your little one. i know personally i couldnt get anymore than a teaspoon at best of colostrum out.
