I wouldn't chance it you never know if you could have a horrific contraction while driving ...try and have a back up driver or you could always call 911

I thought I could drive too. my mom thought I was crazy but if you're not in much pain I don't see why not && depends how far you live from hospital... I live less then 10min away so I think I'd get there faster then the ambulance

call the ambulance and just tell them you think the baby's head is poking out, even if it isn't. they will get there fast. lol

No, I really don't think that would be safe. A friend had her husband drive her to the hospital - and they didn't make it, he had to stop in a parking lot and deliver their baby himself! Call the ambulance. If anything starts happening on the way, they're the best people to have around. Hope it all goes well 🌞

I didn't mean your husband shouldn't drive you, just that you shouldn't drive yourself. Unless your baby is coming super fast, you should be fine with your hubby driving.

well id be really surprised if you had the kid in 1 hour. lol. labor is usually a lengthy process. i do agree that driving by yourself is not a good idea though. contractions can get pretty wild and pretty painful

well the the hospital being a hour away the ambulance might take you to a closer hospital.
