if you feel you should and your doctor is ok with another try I don't see why not! just make sure you are staying hydrated!(-: I took 2 table spoons at first then took 2 more a couple hours later and that's all I needed! if you don't want to walk you can always squat through contractions, that will help baby drop lower!
@isabellasmommy2015, please do your research before commenting. castor oil doesn't directly harm the baby. at all. it's said that castor oil causes the baby to pass meconium. IT DOESNT. though, it causes the bowel to contract, which irritates the uterus and causes it to contract a lot, so much so that it could stress the baby therefore causes it to pass meconium. which can happen NO MATTER WHAT. castor oil or NOT. castor oil is actually used quite often with midwives to initiate labor. and as she said, her doctor gave her the OK to take it. a doctor isn't going to recommend something completely unsafe. sorry, but it really is irritating when people call mothers careless for this. stupid stupid stupid.😑
it worked great for me i was not ready for labor i had no contractions i wasnt dilated or even effaced baby was still high up.. i took 3 tablespoons and woke up 4 hrs later in full labor
that's how my doctor was. they checked my the day I went into labor because I thought my water broke and it didn't. hoping you little baby makes an appearance soon! keep us updated!
yes walk walk walk. that's what I did. and once the contractions start walk even fast through them to keep them steady. It took about 4-5 hours until I started feeling anything!
