Am I wrong? He refuses to quit, says he'll do it when it's right for him. And I told him he's not allowed around Matthew reeking of smoke, he tried to say he'll spray down with ax, but I told him that's not good for Matthew either. That dyes and perfumes aren't good for babies to be around a lot of. It's so frustrating! His son should be enough of a reason to quit. But apparently not. I don't want smoke around my son, at all. If for some reason I start smoking again I'll be doing the same thing with showers and clean clothes, and even if I do start again it won't be often.

exactly! smoking is nasty. my parents have always smoked so I've always been exposed to secondhand smoke and I hate it.I have a cough year round because of it.

Nope! I told my parents they have to change clothes and wash their faces and hands and arms before holding my son.
We've had this same conversation. It's a huge uphill battle!
Do what you think is best! You know what's the best for your baby and yourself. Let him cry like a little baby and act childish. It just shows he's not ready for this baby and his priorities are messed up! Maybe you need to give him a big reality check. That's what I had to do with my boyfriend and he has stepped up completely.
@valerie_jean, It's just ridiculous. He ignores me for the longest time, then decides to message me, and thinks he has any say right now. He cheated on me, breaks all his promises, and ignores me. Then he has money to pay for his phone, Amazon prime and cigarettes but hasn't bought anything for his son. He also said he didn't want to argue over something so miniscule. It's the health of my baby, that's not miniscule.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
@lizzilarson, my husband I told him no cigs. due to the child. and he went to e-cigs vapors. its less expensive and also it doesn't hurt the child ( asked doctors and mothers who switched that smoked.) the smoke that comes out is just water and juice. no nicotine to harm the child. I'd say let him go to that they have some that have the same as a normal CIG without all the chemicals.
