Stressed; I refuse to have my baby delivered by a male doctor and all the female doctors I find can't garentee they'll…

My husband doesn't want a male doc to deliver my baby. I go to an office that has 9 doctors and a few of them are male so if the male is on call that night, I'll have no option :-/

@mmmirage it sucks. wish I could just home birth but my insurance won't cover it.

why must it be so hard for ppl to be delivered by the doctor they'd seen the whole time and trust?

Yeh I wanted a water birth. Insurance won't cover the other hospitals . So annoying! I have no option but to deliver with epidural now. It's tough but whatever. It'll be over in one day :/

at first i did NOT want a male doctor what so ever. I had girl doctor but she left to liberia when i turned 5 months and i was in the situatuion as you. id have diff doctors and all till my due date. anyway i had a choice having a girl and a boy doctor but at the end of the day for my delivery the male doctor was going to deliver. So i went ahead and chose a stable male doctor witch i do not regret now. he listents to me. he wont make me go ovet my due date and he actually cares.

i sort of went thru that but just got sexual harrased and touched by a old guy this past summer at the track and got away. so i know how it find of feels. im sorry again :/ hope you find a good doctor!! my doctor isnt old or else i wouldnt allow it either @jstrong12712
