I totally understand you! Im going though the same. I have people that never cared, caring all of a sudden and the vice versa... but i think that its up to you when you buy things for your baby or not. In the end of the day its you baby and your money that you're spending. In my family tradition we dont buy anything till 3 months .. i dont agree with it and just wanna buy stuff but my mom wont let me :( x

glad some one does 😊 ill be 12 weeks in a weeks time.. but it's the way some people come across! she's so negative and gets so bitchy towards me :/ if I have a pot noodle she will bite my head off and it's like go away -_- x

But if she has no children or a midwifery degree i dont understand why she feels the right to tell you what to do or not lol i would be annoyed too.. my best friend wasnt happy at all when i told her i was trying to get pregnant which dissapointed me a bit but at the same time i have so much love from my family and other friends that it didnt affect me at all...i havent even told her im pregnant yet... :/ x

I agree with you there.. yeah I had a friend like that and tbh I told her if she really thinks I care about her opinion she can think again.. However with my parents friends misses it's different as I met her through him so :/ x

My old school friend never really spoke to me during my pregnancy but once I had my baby, she was non-stop texting me asking to see my baby and once I told her that my baby was ill she posted things on Facebook about how I'm a rubbish friend and put no effort into seeing her...I just ignored it and got on with life :) x

you soon find out who your friends are when your pregnant. . Who needs them when you've got a gorgeous baby in your arms.

I've noticed some distance growing between myself and one of my best friends and his wife. I don't take it personally though, because I do know they've been trying for a baby and no luck and now it's not going to ever happen for them. I guess if it was me in the same situation, I would find it too painful to see my friend growing with a baby bump... #However they are definitely never nasty to me!!

My best friend has started spending less time with me&more; with her boyfriend. I can tell she's jealous because she wants to get pregnant but I don't want it to ruin our friendship x

@wildflower, @kathryn-elizabeth I see where your both coming from definitely Kathryn.. she wants a baby and has tried trapping him into it which hasn't worked yet am but he doesn't want kids till later on in life.. I just hope she doesn't start being silly as there is nothing to be silly over! @holmes indeed! I can't wait to hold my baby for the first time :') x

You are still right, though because nothing ever excuses talking down to or bitchiness to another human being, no matter how much pain they themselves are in! True friends rise above bad behaviour and even tell you how they feel and how hard it is for them so there's no bad vibes between you xxx

Sounds to me like she's jealous. They're either trying and can't get pregnant or she wants to get pregnant and there's something stopping her... But if she hasn't told u what her situation is then she shouldn't judge u! I'd have a few words with her!

Yeah I think I will next time I see her.. that's if she bothered to even see us.. she's told me she wants kids and will do anything so x
