this pain in my side is ridiculous! its so sharp and makes any movement very painful.

@parkers_mommy oh wow I'll definitely drink more water now! no it doesn't hurt to pee. I had a uti in the beginning weeks of my pregnancy and have yet to get another one. thank you for the advice here
@14emathews, try drinking more water. labor & delivery told me to drink a gallon of fluids with half being water, because dehydration can cause contractions. Where exactly is the pain? & I know this is personal but does it hurt/burn to pee? uti/bladder infections happen more frequently in pregnancy, those can cause contractions too if they're bad.
@parkers_mommy I just turned 18 weeks. I've been drinking water when I can other than that its been Gatorade with a few sodas. I am just in tears. my mom thinks its my uterus stretching and I'm like HELP ME!!
have you been drinking enough fluids half being water? I would call your doctor just to be safe, that's what they're there for. I had horrible round ligament pains but what you're saying sounds more of my early contractions. I'm not saying it could be that but it sounds similar. how many weeks are you?
thank you so much @delilahsmommy2015 it started last night around midnight and I tried walking it out but I sat back down on my bed as it was excruciating to stand up. so when I finally fell asleep it would wake me up. I tried putting a rolled up blanket underneath that spot and it would work for a few seconds then it'd be back to this stabbing pain. its the same spot and everything :(

@delilahsmonmy2015 I'm going to talk to my mom about it and then probably call my doctor. this is the fourth time its waken me up from sleep and I'm practically in tears whenever I move around :(
Mom's that went natural no meds , was it painful? Or painful PAINFUL ? I got an epidural last time but I wanna go no meds...
Having some pretty intense constant lower back pain and maybe super light contractions. But can't tell because the back pain is way over powering contractions so I'm walking around my room to see if they get worse.
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.

@14emathews, no problem. if you feel in your gut you need to see someone for the pain, go see someone, listen to your body & if nothing's wrong than you know what "safe pain" is for you & what pains to be more concerned about. sorry for my previous post, getting too personal.
