ALREADY MOMMIES: How long after your membrane sweep did you go into labor?

Aww crap I think I'm not going to be able to I'm 39 weeks tomorrow & my next doc appt is a day before my due date

it definitely doesnt work for everyone, but i had gone on a walk when i realized i was going into labor, so maybe do something like that to help? either go for a brisk walk or get on a exercise ball?

@mrs.oliva yes specially the women... you'd think they are more understanding!!! @flowersssxo yea I asked him about the sweep today. && he started checking to see if I was dilated at 35 weeks.. and then each week after he asked do I want to be checked. && I always say yes.. @sharla0730 I'm really hoping this works.. I'm getting all success stories but I know it doesn't work for everyone!

Do u ask your doctor to get that done? cause mine won't even check if I'm dilated :(

I had mines checked Tuesday and 2 times at 29 weeks with this pregnancy and I was not looking forward some nurses are to rough

had mine done at 11 that morning and was in labor by around 8 that night!

@mrs.oliva 😂😂 me too..but I've been getting my cervix checked weekly now because I need to know if I'm making progress lol... if I have this baby in 3 days like these girls are saying then its gonna be well worth it!

I did five loads of laundry the day after I didn't even realize I was in labor I woke up in pain and went to the bathroom and saw blood got to the hospital at 105 he came at 120

I'm getting super nervous!!! @mrs.oliva hell yea..lol they stick there finger in your cervix...it remind you of period cramps... I didn't like it one bit... but it was fast tho

I remember seeing a couple girls on here that went the same day! Ive never had it done but talked to my dr about it yesterday and she said most women go into labor 1-3 days after having it done!! Im thinking about doing it!!
