2cm dilated 70% effaced, contractions 10min apart lasting 40secs if she don't come on her own this Friday I have to get a stress test & something else then Ill be induced Mon, Tues or Weds, doc has to call me & tell me when they can schedule it. I want to take castor oil to get it going, what are everyone's thoughts on that?

@kori_mommy, nope don't do all that crazy stuff, just dance and walk and bounce on the ball or edge of ya bed
Everyones experience with castor oil is different, i took it twice. The first time it did nothing, it didn't make me poop or anything. The second time it worked for me and it brought on strong painful contractions and still no diarrhea. so i guess it just depends on your body whether or not it gives you diarrhea. I was past my due date as well and i was 60% and 1cm.
try bouncing on the corner of your bed unless you have a birthing ball, also squats if your able to do them. :) idk how well it will work but its worth a try! iv been wanting to try them both im just too lazy haha
yea i took it and labor started 2 hrs later and i was showing no signs of labor anytime soon or was i effaced or dilated at all .... but like @meplusmytwo said its a 50/50 chance
I took it twice and it didn't work but a friend of mine took it and it worked the same day it's a 50/50
Ok Im not doing it! Ive already had diarrhea really bad over the past week &something; & dont wana deal with that so Im going walking more being as though I havent had sex in months not with my child father so its just me
i understand, i was late with my son and in so much pain plus i was soooo dizzy i could barley walk. i tried taking it and i almost threw up it was so nasty. but all it did for me was put me in the bathroom for hours lol & i believe i was 2 or 3 cm dilated at the time also. it dehydrates you badly so if you do decide to do it make sure you drink lots of water.
don't do it...I did everything but that I don't agree with the castor oil thing unless you want chronic diarrhea... have sex.. go walking.. Dance your ass off but don't do the castor oil
some say that happens & others say it brings on labor, I guess i shouldnt then &just; let her come on her own, but my due date was monday, im in so much pain & I just cant take it anymore
girl dont, in my opinion. all it does is make you go poop very badly and its gross!!!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.
