Want an easy way to get a lot of vitamins and nutrients from food? If you have a blender, put some of that food in a smoothie. We buy bags of baby spinach from the grocery store and lots of bananas that I cut and put in sandwhich bags to freeze. You can buy frozen fruit or you can buy whatever is cheapest and in season and freeze it yourself for later use. We enjoy cold smoothies so I freeze the fruit, just not the spinach.
