Yes, I've been on still softeners and Metamucil off and on this whole pregnancy because of constipation. Just make sure the type you take is okay, I don't know if all of them are approved or not.

Yes u can, stool softner colace, Metamucil like @k_ray said, fiber con, milk of mag, I'm 38 wks my doc had me taking all of them at once when I was 35 wks cause the constipation was causing so much pressure

Welcome to the world of pregnancy. Lol... Wish I could say it gets better but it just changes locations. Next time it it will b nerve pain.

You can take colace and also increase fluid and fiber.
