Hi moms, quick question:
Lately I've been having a lot of pain/pressure on my pubic bone and a lot of increased pain in my lower back. Should I be concerned? Has baby's dropped?
@mmmirage, they usually stay that late in pregnancy so don't worry, but every now and then you get one that will decide to be difficult. My baby is head down and I'm only 18 weeks. I'm praying he doesnt go breech at the last minute.
Oh my dear! I didn't know they can flip at any time! I was so ecstatic last week at my 31st week appt because the technician said he's already head down. I hope it stays this way. I'm sure they will check when I go into labor. I guess this whole process is unpredictable :/ I'll just pray! Thank u for the info! @junebaby
It doesn't necessarily mean that because they can flip at any time. They usually stay put though later in pregnancy however my youngest son went from breech to head down at 36 weeks. Doesn't effect the labor time either. I've had a baby who was so low the doctor could feel his head and was in labor for 29 hours. Then with my girls I hadn't dropped or anything and had them in 2 and 3 hours. You just never can tell.
@junebaby being crowned at 32 weeks is good right ? Because that means for labor, the baby will already be there and just making its way thru the birth canal.. I guess shorter labor?
yes baby is probably getting crowded and pressing on your pelvis and nerves. might be head down already.
The baby is probably just in a low position and its putting pressure on your pelvis and lower back. I'm only 18 weeks and have the same problem. Doctor said its because my baby is so low. He's standing on his head.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
❤️Getting to know you❤️
Since our May group is growing strong and we have a lot of new mommies joining and sharing their bfp's...Thought it will be fun to get to know each other as we all share our pregnancy journey!
Oh ok thank god! 🙏 my baby was breech at 19 weeks and it scared me but now he's head down, plus very low.. The technician had the ultrasound wand literally on my private part! Lol she said his head is way down there. so I hope he stays like this the next month and a half! He's already 4 lbs so I doubt he will have space to flip back up or to the side. I hope your baby remains like that until the next ultrasound! @junebaby
