I've noticed most women hate their MIL (mother-in-law) which makes me feel so blessed to have a wonderful MIL who doesn't tell me how I should raise my son, she just loves on him & enjoys being a new grand mother. Since I had my son 3 weeks ago she's been a great big help, has even cooked me dinner, brought it to my house, then even offered to clean my house (which my house isn't messy she's just trying to help out any way possible & I always tell her no)
So my heart goes out to all you mamas with those awful witches of MILs. I couldn't imagine how y'all feel dealing with that crap.
Now my sister-in-laws are a totally different story 😒

I'm lucky to have awesome in laws! Love the like my own family. It's great to see a positive MIL post.

I never see them! My in laws are the best & always taking care of me like I'm their own daughter. Especially since they found out I was giving them their first grand baby.
But like I said, his sister's are a totally different story...they once thought that since they were the aunts that they had a 1/4th say on our sons name. (they are coo coo bananas!) @alhynele

I love my MIL, I just would never let her babysit my son because she has NO idea what she's doing and doesn't care to follow my rules lol.

My mil is just super uneducated. n sometimes annoying. i don't care if she had 5 kids.. they all were raised wrong lol she aint corrupting mine.

Lol me and my MIL have a wonderful relationship also my husband had no sisters and neither do I, lol my only brother just got married so I've had a new SIL for about 5mths and she's awesome lol

I'm really lucky to have amazing in-laws as well! They have done soooo much to help up get ready for our little girl!

My MIL is evil, my fiance even hates her, and that's sad to know, but I'm super close to my mom, and my fiance thought how close we are was weird, but he loves her, and it effected him when my mom had my accident. He doesn't even trust his mom with our daughter while were in the room. He thinks she lives too close to us when she lives 4 hours away. My MIL has tried everything to ruin our relationship, and ruin our lives, she's childish, and mean, she has a God complex, and a know it all. When she found out I was pregnant, at 5 1/2 months, she didn't say anything nice about my fiance, me, or our daughter, also her and her mother made a scene when my fiance went to announce the birth, and they had to be forced out by security, they ruined my pregnancy and my birthing experience. I'm so happy you have it, I wish I did, you do marry the family of your spouse, but for me I love him more than the evil she is, luckily he's like his dad, and he knows and learned for them and who he wants to be as a person and a parent. Sorry for the long post, I love when women can be close with their MIL, and I'm glad that's a possibility for you
