I recently found out I was pregnant. I'm soo scared because I had a miscarriage last year. my water broke at 13 weeks (i actually saw the water ballon about to come out my vagina, push it back in cause i didnt know what it was then i felt the water leaking while im on my way to the emergency room) and no doctor or nurse was able to tell me why this happened to me. they just wanted to do the procedure and rush me out the hospital.
If you're not far from them, and you're willing. to go every week, I don't think they can tell you no. Lol. :P
thank u @rachelmariecroxton
I'm so paranoid I will want them to check it every week lol
If you talk to your OB and tell them you're worried of it happening again, you can get regular cervical exams. Like every 2-3 weeks or so. They usually only do them 2-3 times before you reach a certain point. But you can get them more. That's what I was going to do when I got back on insurance. That way if there is something wrong, it'll be hard for them to miss it with them looking at your gina every few weeks. :)
@madisonmom, @junebaby @rachelmariecroxton
thank you ladies for the support but I just don't want it to be something like incompetent cervix or somethinglike that cause if that's the case it might happen again
plus when they took the baby out its heart was still beating :-( but they told me I will miscarry soon cause no amniotic fluid.
Allot of the time, it's due to the baby not developing correctly. It's nothing you're doing wrong. Think of it like a tattoo... If your body rejects it, what happens? An infection, right? And it tries to kill it by making it look all deformed and stuff. Same with a baby. If You're body isn't ready, or something's wrong with the baby, (mentally, physically) your body will reject it, and try to get rid of it. Because it's sick.
I had 3 miscarriages within a 6th month time period, a few weeks later, I got pregnant again, I'm currently 24 weeks on Monday, and she's as healthy as can be. I still worry, though. And that pain never goes away, but things do get better, once you realize how amazing it's going to be to hold the little munchkin and cuddle him/her, everything will be okay. Just make sure you take regular doctor visits, and trust me, ASK QUESTIONS. You wanna know what that little blob on the monitor is? Ask. Don't be nervous. My mom started getting pissy when we went to go get my 19 week ultrasound done. I kept asking ''is it okay?'' ''nothing's wrong with it?'' every like 5 minutes... I wanted to make sure. Just ask questions, no matter how stupid you think you'll sound. No question is a stupid question. <3
I lost a baby at 13 weeks. I've had two healthy pregnancies since then and am currently almost 18 weeks. The fear will always be there but just try and relax.
