Moms, when you guys had your first child did you go past your due date? And if you did were you induced when you went into labor? Just curious because I'm 37weeks + 3days along & no signs of my son coming anytime soon.... I know I still have a bit of time till he's actually due but im nervous that he will come late & even more nervous that I will have to be induced. I would love it of he came on his own when he's ready...
got induced with #1 cause of GH
37w2days she made her debut
they induced me Monday and she came Wednesday
I don't want mine to be forced out either. If she isn't ready, don't rush it. Now, it it gets to the point where I'm in pain, and she's like a month late, Yeah, induce me. but not. a week late, or two weeks late.
I was 2 days over due. I was scheduled to be induced a week after my due date.
I understand completely. I want that experience too. So I'm hoping I don't have to be induced with this baby. I wanna be one of those, "umm, babe, I think my water just broke" moms this time, haha.
I just want to go as natural as I can with my delivery, I will get induced if I have to but I prefer to experience him coming on his own. I don't want to force my body or him to come if its not ready you know? @laura_love @rachelmariecroxton
They only induce if you go 2 weeks past your due date. Well, I guess that depends on the dr. I was a week early with my first and was induced. It really wasn't that bad. But I know it's different with every woman.
I think you can tell the doctor you don't want to be induced. If there isn't a medical reason for inducement, they don't have to do it.
I want to go full term with this one and have natural labor
