is it safe to get your nails done at 22weeks??.

I've been getting my nails done (acrylic ) faithfully every 2 weeks (even before I was pregnant ). I'm currently 26 weeks. Just be mindful of ventilation nd ask for a mask if needed.

see im more paranoid with hair cuz last time i got my hair done i could smell the dye and i felt like that was harming my baby in some way so since then i have not dyed my hair i think im just gonna suck it up and just keep paintimg them myself lol thank you ladies!!.

Yeah but ask them for a mask anyway. I always wear one because the fumes get to me

But with nails I get nervous, they can cut you the chemical can leak into the wound getting to baby you know that stiff just freaks me out

@seleneromanortiz12 if you dye your hair get it done professionaly and make sure they don't but it on your scaple. My sister's friend is a hair dresser she has done mine while pregnant with no problems. I did not smell any chemical hair came out as planned it was fine.

see i agree its been a back and forward thing with me same with dyeing my hair. but ive really been wanting to at least do my nails lol @firefly i wont dye my hair til after the baby

I would ask my doctor it might be personal opinion in their eyes. But my opinion is no, I stopped getting my nails done when I wanted to get pregnant and haven't done it since.

after first trimester its pretty much okay, just make sure youbwear a little mask thing so you dont breath in too much of the chemicals, but id say go for it,
